Family Intervention Associates, founded by Jo Ann Towle, M.A., BRI-II, offers many years of professional as well as personal experience with the devastating effects of addiction. We will guide you step by step, knowing that when effective action is taken, recovery for all is possible.

We assist families, individuals, and employers throughout the United States, and have been conducting assessments and facilitating successful interventions since 1985. We can objectively help determine what is needed and are familiar with the best treatment available.

We are independent consultants and not affiliated with any particular treatment center. Jo Ann Towle is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and travels nationally. She is routinely in the New England region.

Meet the Director & Founder
Director and Founder of Family Intervention Associates, Jo Ann Towle, M.A., BRI-II, is a strong advocate of the systemic model, having conducted thousands of assessments and interventions for addictive family systems. She believes in coaching and empowering families through a healthy intervention process that is open, honest, inclusive and respectful.

A founding member of the Association of Intervention Specialists (AIS), former staff interventionist for Parkside Recovery Centers, she currently provides both consultation and professional trainings throughout the United States. Her first love remains working with families.
